Fiuuuu is a flight search engine built for trips that cross a country or a region: you land in one city and fly home from another.
Flight search engines think in pairs of airports. Real trips don't: you enter a country, cross it and leave from somewhere else. Fiuuuu searches exactly these trips, across a whole region, and shows them to you as a route, not as a list of flights.
What we do, and what we don't
- We search flights on booking sites and show you their prices, for the whole group.
- We send you to the booking page for that flight. We don't sell tickets and we don't take payments.
- We don't ask you to sign up and we don't profile people who search.
- We may receive a commission from partner sites: that's how the service stays free, and it doesn't change the price you pay.
How we build the itineraries
- Stops and nights are chosen by hand, stop by stop, starting from guides and routes people have already done: they're a suggestion, not a package.
- Durations and costs of overland travel are estimates: they give the order of magnitude of a train, bus or ferry, and change with season and class.
- Flight prices are never estimates: we look them up live on booking sites every time you search.
- We reread the guides by hand and each one says when we last updated it.
The name
Fiuuuu (fiuuuu.com, with four u's): the name has three u's, the address four.
